ECUST Vice-President Zhu Weihong met with a delegation from Azerbaijan Technical University led by Rector Vilayat Valiyev and Vice-Rector for International Affairs Fariz Mammadov on September 11,2025. Both sides held in-depth exchanges on topics of mutual interest such as energy and chemical engineering, biomedicine, and business, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
During the meeting, representatives from our university, including Vice Dean Zhou Xinggui (School of Chemical Engineering), Vice Dean Zhang Lixin (School of Biotechnology), Peng Zeyu (International Office Director, Business School), and Shi Xiaoman (International Education School), exchanged views on dual-supervisor joint doctoral training, collaborative research, international joint multi-degree programs, and reached consensus. Vice Director Tang Jimin (Office of International Cooperation and Exchange), Wang Junyou (School of Chemical Engineering), Zhang Jingyu (School of Biotechnology), and Deng Zhonghua (Office of International Cooperation and Exchange) attended the meeting.
